On May 31, 2005, Marian Centre Edmonton, our second field house, celebrated its 50th anniversary. Situated in the heart of a large western Canadian city, this house has been known mainly for its service to the poorest of the city poor—those whom people call, among other things, “the homeless,” “transients,” “street people.” We call them “Christophers,” for they are bearers of Christ.
In celebration of this anniversary year, MH staff workers of Marian Centre, past and present, will share some stories with us in this issue of Restoration.
If you enjoy our articles, we ask you to please consider subscribing to the print edition of Restoration; it's only $10 a year, and will help us stay in print. Thanks, and God bless you!
