Do we really desire to be one with the Trinity? In this, the first and only publicly available video recording of Catherine Doherty speaking, she introduces and explains the deep spiritual meaning of sobornost—the Russian word for “unity.”
The great desire of Jesus Christ is that we all be one with himself, the Father, and the Holy Spirit—that we form a community of love with the Trinity. Catherine shows how this great gift of God can be incarnated among us with clear and practical instruction on:

- Healing division and conflict in our family relationships

This address was given at the Eastern Catholic Charismatic Renewal conference in Atlantic City, NJ in 1979.

About the Speaker
Catherine Doherty used her heritage as a Russian Christian as a matrix for responding to the needs of Christian life and work in the modern world. Her own personal pilgrimage led her to be “poor with the poor Christ” in the slums of Toronto and in Harlem; and later to the establishing of the world-wide Madonna House Apostolate. A dedicated wife and mother, Catherine was also a prolific writer of hundreds of articles, a best-selling author of dozens of books, a renowned national speaker, and a pioneer of social justice. Catherine Doherty's cause for canonization as a saint is now under consideration by the Catholic Church.
