Madonna House

On January 31, 2002, the Archbishop of Vancouver, Most Reverend Adam Exner, OMI, invited Madonna House to open a mission house in the Archdiocese of Vancouver. The community responded by mandating four staff members to establish the first Madonna House foundation on Canada’s Pacific Coast.
Our Mission
- To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ by living the spirit of Madonna House.
- To provide an evangelizing presence in the Archdiocese of Vancouver, praying especially for the Archbishop, the priests, religious and lay faithful, and for all the needs of the Archdiocese.
- To be a place of welcome and friendship for all who come, including the youth and anyone needing a listening ear to help discern the signs of God in our midst.
- To share the rich heritage of the Christian East that we have received from our foundress, and to carry in ourselves a fervent prayer for unity between East and West, between races and cultures, between rich and poor, and all the children of God.
